Having lived in Philadelphia,LA, Seattle, Mexico, San
Francisco, Denver and Tucson before residency, I
wasn't tied down geographically. I looked hard at all
the EM/IM programs out there and couldn't be happier
with my choice to come to HCMC. Great medicine and
trauma, new activites (broomball?!),and awesome
colleagues, what more could you ask for?

I grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, and the opportunity to get EM/IM training at an place like HCMC, right in my backyard, has been fantastic. Outside of work, I love running, cycling, and waffles (in that order).

I came out from NC. Never imagined I would be happily living in the mid-west. The program is great. I knew coming in, Hennepin had a great reputation and after being here a few months I believe it is well deserved. As far as the city goes......if you like indy music, micro brews, good food and outdoor sports this city has it all.
