Bradley Bart, MD  

Dr. Bart is Chief of Cardiology at Hennepin County Medical Center. He is also the director of clinical programs including nuclear cardiology, EECP (enhanced external counterpulsation for the treatment of severe angina), therapeutic hypothermia for the treatment of cardiac arrest survivors, and ultrafiltration for advanced heart failure at Hennepin County Medical Center.  Dr. Bart is experienced in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease and heart failure and has significant research experience and publications in the area of heart failure. 


Dr. Bart graduated from medical school at the University of Minnesota and received his internal medicine training at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado.  He completed his cardiology fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and has been a faculty member at Hennepin Faculty Associates since 1997.  He is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Minnesota and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.  Dr. Bart is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and nuclear cardiology.  He is a member of numerous professional societies including: American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Heart Failure Society of America, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
