information provides an overview of the services provided by the departments
of
Microbiology and Molecular
Diagnostics at Hennepin County Medical
Center. Please contact the laboratory director or supervisor/technical
specialist if you have questions not addressed in these pages or need
specialized infectious disease diagnostic testing.
The HCMC Microbiology Laboratory is accredited through the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The microbiology laboratory participates in CAP proficiency testing.
