Occupational Therapy provides services to both inpatients and outpatients with a variety of medical conditions. Functional capabilities (activities of daily living) of the patient are evaluated and treatment programs are implemented using task-oriented activities, adaptive techniques, and adapted equipment. Education of the patient and family members is an essential component of care. |
