Pediatric Emergency Department

HCMC's Pediatric Emergency Department is right next to the adult emergency facility. Families who experience multiple casulaties can stay together in the same facility, making it easier for loved ones to stay connected in times of crisis. The Pediatric Emegency Department specializes in the care of children age 16 and younger. Pediatric-trained physicians and nurses attend to more than 12,500 patient visits each year and specialize in child-centered services.
