Since 1984, HCMC’s Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine has been providing high-risk pregnancy care for women in the five-state region. We offer comprehensive diagnostic services and medical care for a full range of fetal abnormalities, maternal health concerns and complications of pregnancy.

Patients must be referred by their obstetrician or primary care provider.

We collaborate with the HCMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This leads to excellent care for high-risk obstetric patients and premature or sick newborns.

Our Staff

Our staff members include board-certified maternal-fetal obstetricians, obstetrical nurses, genetic counselors and specially trained ultrasound sonographers.

Our Medical Staff

Our doctors are obstetrician/gynecologists (OB/GYNs) who specialize in maternal-fetal medicine

We also work closely with a network of medical specialists, including neonatologists, pediatric cardiologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, surgeons and others.
