This is a special class designed to help children ages 2-10 prepare for a new baby in the family. This fun and interactive play class introduces your child to what it is like to become a big brother or sister. Class activities are designed to help your child(ren) understand and learn what to expect when the new baby arrives.
A parent or adult caregiver must come to class with the child/children. A short visit to the Birth Center specially designed for small children is included in this class.
Please bring:
Child’s favorite doll or stuffed animal
Receiving blanket
Activities include:
Art project
Role play/group play
Story time
Special Birth Center tour
Cost: $15 per family (up to 2 adults & 2 children) *Please note: We do not bill insurance for the cost of this class. Please pay at the time of registration.
This class is best taken in the last 2 months of pregnancy.

Register early; class size is limited. We recommend registering at least 6 weeks before the start of the class
Registrations are taken in the order in which they are received.
In the event of low enrollment, a class may be cancelled. If this occurs, you will be notified by mail, phone and/or e-mail. You have the option of rescheduling.
