What our program offers:

• Specialty health care to children with brain injuries

• Evaluation of the child’s level of functioning and need for services
  
  
• Therapy services as indicated
  
  
• Information, support and counseling to the family, including siblings
  and caregivers
  
  
• Identification of on-going needs, coordination of services and assistance with the child’s return to school and the community
  
  
• Periodic re-assessment and review of the child’s progress on a
  long-term basis
  
  
• Evaluation of children with acquired brain injuries who are referred
  by the community
  
  
• Services respecting strengths and individuality of each child and family
  
  
• Partnership with HCMC Trauma Services to provide education and prevention resources
  
  
• Outreach educational and consultative services to community providers
  
  
• Participation in inter-agancy efforts to improve services for children
  and their families through state-wide service programs
