The Child’s Team

The Pediatric Brain Injury Program uses a coordinated team-based approach to providing care that begins when the child is admitted to HCMC. Each child is assigned a social worker/care manager who coordinates the plan for addressing the child’s complex needs. Depending on the child’s needs, specialists from various disciplines on the team contribute to the child’s care. Members of the team include:

The team reviews the child’s needs, progress, and plans for future treatment.
