Occupational Therapy

What can occupational therapy do for the Huntington's Disease patient?

Occupational therapy can provide services to help patients maximize their independence and functional abilities in daily activities.  Occupational therapists can recommend equip-ment to maximize bathroom safety to avoid falls and recommend treatment to make daily activities such as eating and dressing easier.  Occupational therapists can also make recommendations to improve home safety.
