Physical Therapy

What can physical therapy do for the Huntington’s Disease patient?

The physical therapist can help the HD patient deal with the physical changes in his/her body.  The physical therapist will evaluate the patient’s gait and possible need for assistive devices and exercise programs.  The therapist also works closely with the family offering safety tips to help prevent falls and accidents in the home.
