Program Overview

A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in the care of a patient while admitted to a hospital for a medical reason or surgery. During a patient's stay, the hospitalist will stay in close communication with the patient's referring physician, ensuring they receive the best and most coordinated care possible. Because hospitalists provide patients with continuous care, allowing them to see the same physician for much of their hospital stay, the hospitalist program provides patients with comfort and stability.

The team of hospitalists will be led by Glen Varns, M.D.
