Information for patients

Patients coming to Hennepin for surgery or other medical reason may be referred to a hospitalist for their care over the course of the hospital stay. The hospitalist will be in charge of your day-to-day care, as well as the communication with your primary care physician. Because hospitalists provide you with continuous care, allowing you to see the same physician for much of your hospital stay, most patients see the hospitalist program as a source of comfort and stability.
