Information for providers

The Hospitalist Program is designed to supplement Hennepin's services for patients admitted primarily for the treatment of a medical condition and to offer a new service to surgeons for their patients.  It is also designed to open a new channel of access for community clinic providers and other primary care physicians to refer/admit patients.

To refer a patient to The Hospitalist Program, call (612) USE-HCMC.

The hospitalist on call will work with the House Supervisors and Admitting to complete the rest of the process.  The hospitalist will also let you know when to expect information about your patient and their progress.
