Neurovascular Rapid Assessment Clinic

The Neurovascular Rapid Assessment Clinic serves patients with suspected TIAs (transient ischaemic attacks or mini-strokes) and other acute neurovascular issues, who do not require inpatient admission or emergency department assessment. The clinic provides rapid access to a vascular neurologist in a clinic setting and urgent referrals to surgery as necessary. The clinic is staffed by Gustavo Rodriguez, MD (or the vascular neurologist on call that day) and a fellow. It is located within the HCMC Neurology Clinic.

To make an appointment

There are two time slots available each weekday for these patients. Patients are able to get an assessment within a day of referral by their primary care provider. To speak with a stroke expert to discuss your patient’s symptoms, call Hennepin Connect.
