Psychiatry offers Friends and Family Community Support Group

Group offers information, support for those who have a loved one with a mental illness

The Friends and Family Community Support Group provides the opportunity for friends and family members of people with mental illnesses to learn more about mental illness, and have their questions answered by a psychiatric health professional in an informal and supportive environment. 

The support group meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m.  Interested participants should meet at Hennepin County Medical Center, on Level 8 of the Orange Building, in the waiting area near the orange elevator.
