The William W. Jepson, M.D. Day Treatment Program at
HCMC serves adults living with serious mental illness to optimize potential
and build hope. Clients choose three groups per day to meet their needs,
while continuing to work with their own outpatient psychiatrist.
The Day Treatment Program has three tracks
to service a wide variety of clients: 1) Life Skills for clients who desire
a more concrete, skill building program, 2) Interpersonal Skills for persons
wanting more insight oriented programming and to look at life patterns,
and 3) Dual diagnosis (MICD) for clients wanting continuing support for
managing both sobriety and psychiatric symptoms. Clients participate in
the program for an average of six months.
