Typical
Therapy Day
The average length
of stay is 13 days and during this time patients have a daily therapy
schedule to follow. Below is a portrait of a typical day for a patient.
Occasionally there are additions to a patient's schedule. For instance,
medical check-ups, meeting with a social worker, a psychologist, a neuropsychologist,
and/or a dietician may also occur during a patient's day. Additional meetings
with occupational, physical, or speech-language therapy are sometimes
scheduled in a single day.

In the evenings,
the Nursing staff continue working toward therapy goals and patients practice
