Surgery
Department staff performs general surgery and specialty surgery in
neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, thoracic
and cardiovascular surgery, orthopaedic surgery, otolaryngology,
ophthalmology, transplant
and vascular access, renal (including transplants and renal access),
urologic surgery, bone marrow, genitourinary, urinary, gynecology,
oral, and dental surgery. Surgeons also have special research and
clinical interests in hyperbaric medicine,
heart surgery, colon and rectal surgery, kidney
transplants, brain trauma, laparoscopic and laser surgery, cancer
surgery, burn treatment, and lithotripter treatment of kidney stones.
