Dentistry Residency: Curriculum

Multidisciplinary Approach Incorporating the Latest Techniques

About Our Curriculum

Dentistry Residency Curriculum Highlights Graphic

The one-year Dentistry program trains our residents to practice as a patient’s primary provider, and to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Residents take an early and active role in patient care, while working side-by-side with experienced specialists.

Rotations include dental practice in our onsite clinic, working with a diverse community of patients, and assisting physicians across the hospital as part of a total healthcare team.

A variety of didactic opportunities focus on specific areas, such as pediatric dentistry and managing office emergencies. Our dedicated faculty, enthusiastic staff, and comprehensive approach help residents develop the clinical skills and procedural confidence to practice effectively in any setting.

The program includes an optional second year that participants can customize for more leadership and focused study.
