Psychiatry Residency: Didactics

Conference Overview and Research Opportunities

Didactic Opportunities

Psychiatry residents enjoy a weekly half-day of protected time for didactics, including departmental lectures and conferences. We expect residents to be onsite and engaged in educational activities during this period, even if no formal meetings are scheduled.

In addition, ample opportunities exist at both HCMC and Regions Hospital for clinical research and quality improvement projects. Both organizations operate separate, nonprofit research foundations: the Minnesota Medical Research Foundation (MMRF), and the HealthPartners Institute for Education and Research.
