Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services for both adults and children. The primary goals of restoring function and maximizing patient independence are achieved through a specific program of physical and occupational therapy, as well as through speech pathology, physiatric services, and neuropsychological services. Inpatient services also use skilled rehabilitation nursing, therapeutic-recreation specialists, and social services.
