EMS Education: Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver CPR Courses

General Information
The HCMC EMS Education staff are a talented multidisciplinary team of experienced healthcare providers. The teaching staff include experienced EMS paramedics, nursing personnel, and HCMC physicians, working together to provide you with current information in a low stress manner that creates an enjoyable learning experience.

Courses are held in the Hennepin County Medical Center EMS Education classrooms, located on level one of the HCMC parking ramp facility at 600 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, MN (exceptions noted).

Heartsaver AED and CPR
This half-day course presents AHA CPR information and skills for the public are interested in learning CPR and AED use for adults, children, and infants. Upon completion of the course, the participant is issued an American Heart Association Heartsaver AED course completion card. Class times are 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Healthcare Provider CPR
This half-day course presents AHA CPR information and skills for the healthcare professional. Upon completion of the course, the participant is issued an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
