EMS Education: Outreach Programs

EMS Education also seeks to advance the level of care in emergency medical services throughout Minnesota in a variety of ways. Our staff:

	Sponsor "The Beat Goes On" — an automated External Defibrillator recognition program
	Operate an American Heart Association Training Center
	Conduct basic first aid/CPR classes for the general public
	Provide advanced level classes for healthcare providers throughout the region
	Participate and serve on a variety of state and local EMS committees
