Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) is repeatedly named one of America's Best Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Our dynamic, 471-bed medical center is Minnesota's first and largest Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center.

Pharmacists at HCMC collaborate to provide quality patient care in a healing environment using professional knowledge, mastery of skills, and compassion. The HCMC residency programs are postgraduate training programs that center on the development of knowledge, attitudes, and abilities necessary to independently and competently optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes through direct and indirect patient care and pharmacy practice management. Specialized residency programs emphasize optimization of patient outcomes in a focused area of healthcare with a commitment to prepare a new generation for leadership within the specialty area of the pharmacy profession.
