Our Education Diabetes FMC participates in the Staged Diabetes Management program (SDM), which advocates a standard and proven care process for diabetics. We believe care is optimized when providers treat patients in a consistent, evidence-based manner. Nurse educators and dietitians are available in the clinic as well to assist our patients in learning about and living with their diabetes. Obstetrics Continuity of care for the pregnant patient is an important aspect of the health care services we provide to our community. The same physician that cares for them during their pregnancy will also attend the birth, care for the newborn in the nursery, and provide well child care in the clinic afterwards.
