International Graduate Requirements

Internal Medicine Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center welcomes the application of International Graduates to our program. Please find further criteria for

the match listed below:

• Hennepin County Medical Center sponsors only J-1 visas
• An inpatient internal medicine experience in an academic teaching hospital within the US of at least 8 weeks in length
• Scores of 210 or higher within two attempts on the USMLE steps 1 and 2
• 7 year medical school graduation requirement
• Application deadline November 30th
• No pre-match positions
