"Champion for inner-city education among unsung heroes"

Rajiv Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah is a 2003 graduate of the HCMC Internal

Medicine Residency Program, now completing a Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He is the

co-founder of ACES (Athletes Committed to Educating 

Students), dedicated to mentoring inner-city school

children, and was recently chosen to receive an

"Unsung Hero" Award from the McKnight Foundation

for his work.
