What our graduates go on to do:

  • Total graduates of the residency program from 1999-2007:  34
  • 77% of graduates stayed in Minnesota for at least 2 years of practice:
    • 24% of graduates were employed by HCMC
    • 12% of graduates were employed by HealthPartners/Regions
  • 41% of graduates were employed elsewhere in Twin Cities or rural Minnesota (including J1 waivered positions)
  • Graduates now work in California, Illinois, Florida, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Texas, South Dakota, Washington, Ohio, New Mexico, Michigan, and, of course, Minnesota!
  • Our graduates have captured competitive fellowships in the fields of forensic, geriatric, consultation liaison, addiction and child/adolescent psychiatry at such places as Harvard, Stanford, Mayo Clinic, Yale and the University of Minnesota, as well as many others.
