The Hennepin County Medical Center EM/IM residency was created in 2006 as the 11th such combined program in the country. It was a natural outgrowth of our two outstanding departments.

EM/IM residents at HCMC have the best of both worlds-- a single urban site, and the flexibility to shape clinical training to individual interests while remaining committed to leadership, learning, and exceptional patient care.
