Visiting Hours

General visiting hours are 10:00am - 8:30pm everyday. However, visiting hours vary on different nursing units. Please ask a member of your nursing staff for specific visiting hours.

Entrances to HCMC are locked at 8:30 p.m. After 8:30 p.m., visitors should use the 8th Street public entrance, near the corner of Park and Chicago off of 8th. Visitors will be asked to sign the visitor's log, and the nursing unit that they are visiting will be called to approve the visit. The visitor will then be issued a visitor's pass and given directions to their patient's room.
