Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) will celebrate 122 years of innovation and leadership at the Best of Hennepin Continuing Education (CME) Event and Celebration at The Depot in Downtown Minneapolis on May 14, 15 and 16. In a gathering of historic proportions, HCMC alumni, colleagues, and new friends will learn, connect and reflect on their experiences at HCMC while enjoying the best of downtown Minneapolis. Physicians, nurses, health care providers and Hennepin alumni from across the country are expected to attend the event.
“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the wonderful history and experience of Hennepin County Medical Center,” explains Dr. Michael Belzer, Medical Director of HCMC, who, like thousands of other caregivers, received medical training at HCMC. “No matter what our area of expertise, each of us found an atmosphere of compassion, collaboration, service and education at Hennepin that helped form the underpinnings of the foundational mission for our health care careers. I’m reminded of those experiences every day, especially as I work with new residents and students to see firsthand our commitment to training the health care providers of tomorrow.”
Up to 17.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ will be offered, and this activity is designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing’s continuing education requirements. Visit BestofHennepin.org for the complete schedule of speakers and topics, including session topics in:
