Teri Verner, RN, DNP
Teri Verner is the Program Manager of the Integrative Health Clinic and facilitates and advises the incorporation of integrative therapies throughout the Hennepin Health System. She is a Registered Nurse and is a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialty in Integrative Health and Healing from the University of MN. She is a Certified Public Health Nurse and a member of the American Holistic Nurse Association.
During her doctoral training she received specialized training in clinical aromatherapy, acupressure, guided imagery, mediation and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, mind-body therapies, botanical medicine, Ayurveda, functional nutrition, optimal healing environments, Reiki, health coaching, applied research, and whole-systems leadership. She spent her final year in the doctoral program as a fellow with the Gorge Family Foundation, allowing her more education and experiences in Integrative Health and Healing practices. Teri's passion is improving well-being by empowering people to live their most balanced and healthy lives possible with the use of integrative therapies, allowing for a truly personalized health care plan.
