Danielle LaPage Rausch, RN, CNP
Danielle is a mental health nurse practitioner in the Psychiatry Department at HCMC. She enjoys working with a diverse variety of individuals with mental health issues and carries a special interest in managing acute ("crisis") situations.
Danielle began her nursing career as a nursing assistant in 1997. She went on to complete her ADN in 1999 at North Hennepin Community College, BSN in 2003 at Metropolitan State University and MA degree in 2009 at The College of St. Scholastica. Danielle has been working in the mental health setting since first becoming an RN in 1999. She since has held a variety of leadership roles within the mental health and nursing fields.
Danielle is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In 2010, she published a widely-referenced article on the use of one-on-one sitters in the hospital setting.
