Commitment to Patient-Centered Care
"I believe our role in family medicine is to make it easier to be healthy. The body is very resilient and forgiving, to a point, before illness ensues. It is a privilege to get to know each patient as a person and to be able to provide care based on individual needs. Prevention and wellness are simple in theory, but are never the same for any two people. My profession allows building that depth of understanding over time — learning how patients spend their days, what makes them tick, what they value, what frustrates them, what gets in the way of good habits and understanding the person as a whole."
