Nancy K. Newman, MD
Family and Community Medicine
Dr. Newman graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1988. She completed her family medicine residency training (1991) and family systems medicine fellowship training (1993) at the University of Rochester, New York. Upon completion of her training, she joined the Hennepin County Medical Center Department of Family Medicine as a faculty physician. She divides her time between patient care and teaching. She practices the full spectrum of family medicine including pediatrics, obstetrics, and geriatrics. Her teaching roles are largely focused on women's health and improving interviewing skills of the residents in training.
She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys being with her family and gardening.
