Gisele S. Bouroncle, MD

Family and Community Medicine


Dr. Bouroncle graduated from medical school in Lima, Peru in 1987, completed her family medicine residency training in 1996, as well as a fellowship in faculty development training in 1999 at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis. She joined the Department of Family Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center as a faculty physician in 2008, after practicing at a local clinic for eleven years. She provides primary care for people of all ages including prenatal care and obstetrical management. She has a special interest in diabetes care. Spanish is her native language and she also holds a certification in Spanish medical terminology.

Dr. Bouroncle is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She holds and academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.
