Dr. Mandell primarily sees patients in the Psychiatry Clinic, where she is part of the Hennepin Women’s Mental Health Program (HWMHP). She also consults to the HCMC Burn Unit. She is a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) therapist. She has particular interests in working with women (and men) during and after pregnancy as well as with patients coping with burn trauma. She obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1987. She completed her internship and fellowship training at HCMC and has remained here since. She is currently the Director of Psychology Training.
